Costanzi Consort is a chamber choir for singers in North Somerset and Bristol. We specialise in performing beautiful unexplored early and contemporary music to a very high standard. We want our audiences to leave our concerts feeling uplifted, inspired and that their eyes have been opened to music they never knew existed before they walked through the door.

Review of 'In Dulci Jubilo' - Christmas Concert 2019
"The evening was a triumph for the singers and their musical director, and the hard work they must have put in was obvious.  They already have a full calendar for 2020, with three more concerts planned – I want to hear them."

Praise from our audience

"A really good gig - well done; the best I've been to.  Programming was very good and  the variety of styles and combinations of instruments helped enormously.  It also gave greater opportunities for the choir to show off their wide dynamic range - something not always possible in wholly Renaissance music.   To find such class soloists amongst the choir was a huge bonus and felt 'right'. "

"What a fantastic concert. My fellow violin playing friend accompanied me, and so I introduced her to the fantastic Constanzi Consort.  I thought the Leopold Mozart mass was superb - great harmonies, and so well presented.  I wish I could sing this well!"

(Joyce Rudall, June 2019)

We are always keen to hear from experienced singers with good sight-reading ability. If you are interested in joining us please email
